The late Alby Schultz was born 1939 and became the NSW State Member for the seat of Burrinjuck in the late 1970's. He later nominated for the Federal seat of Hume about a decade later and held the seat for many years. Alby was a "slaughterman" by trade but became a dogged political fighter for a fair go for everyone in his long political career. He fought a long and courageous battle with illness with his beloved wife Gloria and family beside him he died in July 2015. Wonderful man, wonderful friend so Susan and I both attended his funeral at Cootamundra on July 21 2015. Vale Alby Schultz.
