Mr.Greene purchased Iandra in 1878 at which time it comprised 32,000 acres between Young and Cowra in NSW, near the village of Greenthorpe. In 1908 Greene commenced building a castle of re-enforced concrete, along with stables, water tower and filtration plant. The building still exists today and is undergoing gradual restoration. It is listed as a "heritage building" and has a couple of "open days" each year-at RS.Williams we were fortunate enough to pay this magnificent structure a visit in June 2017.
